Little Blue Wren
Fairy-wrens are a local icon of the coastal Western Australian town where I was born. Since moving to Victoria, my family has maintained a special connection to these tiny, brightly coloured birds and always delight in spotting them, darting through the bush.
On the west coast of Australia they are known as Splendid and on the east coast they are called Superb. Both species are beautiful and representative of my fascination with the natural world and its many exquisite creations.
